Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Finance Associate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about finance and providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will support our team with client servicing, planning, processing and contribute to maintaining strong customer relationships within a fast-paced environment. A background in financial services is preferred to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisors with day-to-day client servicing and account administration
  • Process mutual fund trades, new accounts, transfers, and redemptions in accordance with CIRO requirements
  • Assist with life insurance applications, policy changes, and in-force servicing
  • Prepare and review documentation to ensure regulatory and compliance accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Communicate professionally with clients, fund companies, insurance carriers, and internal partners
  • Assist with meeting preparation, scheduling, and post-meeting follow-ups
  • Adhere to all compliance, privacy, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications 

5+ years Financial Planning experience

Registered as a Mutual Fund Dealing Representative (CIRO)

Life Insurance License (LLQP)

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in a Canadian financial advisory or wealth management firm
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, mutual fund platforms, and insurance back-office processes
  • Understanding of CIRO compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
